Renewable energy comes from landfills. Waste Management produces enough energy from its landfills to power over 400000 homes. Through a process called "landfill-gas-to-energy", we are ensuring that the waste we collect does not necessarily go to waste.

Holub, 52, was riding a bicycle Feb. 24 and was hit by a Waste Management garbage truck. She was airlifted to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, where she died four days later.
