Professor X's Powers

Professor X is arguably one of the most – if not THE most – powerful X-Men in existence, and I’d like to talk a little about his powers and how he generally uses them.First of all, his full name is Professor Charles Francis Xavier. He’s the leader of the X-Men, and tends to be the wisest and kindest of all of them. He is in a wheel chair, although since he is a telepath, he can hover himself above the ground.

His mind is incredibly powerful, and he is able to read other people’s thoughts and control them, especially if their minds are weak. Not only can he do amazing things with his mind, but he has a fascinating brain as well; he’s super-smart. He’s labeled as a “scientific genius”, and is looked at with great respect in the fields of mutation, genetics, and psionic powers.

Professor X’s goal is to further the existence of mutants by promoting their rights through peaceful means. He’s been the main mediator between humans and mutants, and is very powerful and comfortable in that role.

His arch-enemy has been Magneto, although there is a complicated mutual respect between the two, as they were long ago friends.

Charles was born to rich parents in New York City, and their names are Brian and Sharon Xavier.

With all of his great powers, it’s no surprise that he has had a legion of other enemies, as they all want a piece of Professor X. But time and time again, he uses his mind to control and defeat the bad guys.
